Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 20, 2026 Developer: Brown Family Apps

This policy describes how Brown Family Apps handles information in its website and six apps: Eggsy, JobSnapApp, Tic-Tac-Toe, ServiceAll, Homesteader, and Void Ascendant. Some apps are available now and others are still being developed or tested. Practices depend on the app version and on the features you use.

We design our products to collect only information needed for app functionality, relevant diagnostics, requested online features, purchases and support. We do not sell or rent personal information or use app records to create advertising profiles. Keeping records on your device is different from using an optional third-party service: the app-specific details below explain that distinction.

Important distinction

Local records generally remain on your device unless you choose an export, backup, share or online feature. An app store, crash reporting service, authentication provider, AI provider or gaming service may independently process technical, account or transaction information when that service is used. Not every service applies to every app.

Privacy by app

1. Our website

We do not intentionally use advertising trackers or behavioral advertising analytics on brownfamilyapps.com. Our website hosting provider and services used to load site resources may process routine technical requests, such as IP addresses, browser information and server logs, to deliver and secure the website. Emailing us opens your own email service; any information you send will be used to respond to your inquiry or fulfill your request.

2. Types of information handled

The following categories apply only where a particular app or feature uses them:

A feature described as planned on a product page is not automatically active. We will update this policy as app versions and service integrations change.

3. App-specific details

Eggsy — Egg and flock tracking

Eggsy stores the flock-management records you choose to create, including egg logs, hens and breeds, coops and flocks, notes, hatch/cull dates, feed-related entries, calculations and your preferences. Core records are designed to be stored locally on your device.

Exports and photos

If you save or share CSV exports, flock records or images, the copy goes to the file location or service you choose. Eggsy's hen-photo and “Employee of the Month” features may access images you select; optional photo editing can produce images stored or shared at your direction.

AI breed scanner

If you use a breed-identification feature that relies on a remote AI provider, the bird photo or other content you intentionally submit may be sent to that provider to return a result. Do not submit people, personal documents or sensitive content. Review any feature-specific disclosure presented in the app. AI identification is a guide, not a guarantee.

If diagnostic reporting is enabled in the installed version, the diagnostics section below also applies.

JobSnapApp — Contractor client and photo management

JobSnapApp processes information you choose to enter or import to organize work, such as client names, contact details, job notes, schedules, crew time and job-site photos. Work records and photos are designed for local access; you may choose to create backups or share information yourself.

Sign-inWhen you use Google Sign-In or an enabled Firebase Authentication feature, the identity provider may process account identifiers and your email address for authentication. This is distinct from your locally stored client/job records.
Contacts and photosContact information is accessed when you choose to import contacts. Job-site images you capture or select are handled for organization within the app; you decide when to export or share them.
Google DriveWhen you choose Google Drive backup/restore, the relevant backup is sent to or retrieved from the Google account you authorize. Copies in your Drive remain there until removed in that account.
Diagnostics and analyticsJobSnapApp's dedicated privacy policy discloses Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics. Where these are enabled in your release, technical/crash data and usage events may be processed by Google Firebase for reliability and product improvement, not advertising profiles.
SubscriptionsGoogle Play handles subscription purchases and payment information. The app may use purchase status or entitlement information to enable a subscription.

JobSnapApp privacy and account deletion: This Brown Family Apps policy is the single source of truth for JobSnapApp privacy information. The JobSnapApp website privacy URL redirects to this section so the two sites cannot drift out of sync. For account deletion requests, email jobsnapappinfo@gmail.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” Deleting local app storage alone does not necessarily remove identity-provider records or backups already saved to your own Google Drive.

Tic-Tac-Toe — Two-player game

Tic-Tac-Toe is an ad-free pass-and-play game designed to work without collecting personal information through its gameplay. Game scores, board state and preferences can be stored on your device. You do not need to enter your name, email or contact details to play.

Google Play may process information independently when you obtain, install or update the game or use a store-provided purchase feature. That platform processing is not the same as Brown Family Apps collecting your game records. If a future release adds online accounts, analytics or new services, this policy and the app's store disclosure will need to reflect that change.

ServiceAll — My Garage

ServiceAll organizes the vehicle and equipment records you create: specifications, serial/VIN information, maintenance and repair history, costs, parts, photos, receipts, usage readings, reminders, service templates and preferences. Its core data is stored locally in the app.

Backups and exports

ServiceAll lets you create and restore backup files containing your equipment details, specifications, VIN/serial information, maintenance records, parts, costs, reminders, receipts, photos and other associated app records. You can save or restore a backup through your device's file picker to local storage or an external provider you choose. You may also enable scheduled backups stored in the app's private device storage. Copies kept only on the device can be lost if the device is damaged, app storage is cleared, or the app is uninstalled.

Optional Google Drive backups

With your authorization, ServiceAll can connect to your Google account using Google's authorization service and the limited https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file permission. This grants the app access to Google Drive files and folders it creates or files you explicitly authorize; it does not request access to all the files in your Drive. ServiceAll can create or reuse a folder called ServiceAll_Backups in your Google Drive, upload backup archives there, list and download accessible ServiceAll backups for restoration, and remove older app-managed backup files in accordance with the retention setting you select. The default automatic schedule is weekly, keeping the five most recent backups, and you can change or disable automatic backups.

These uploads are made from ServiceAll on your device to your own Google Drive account, not to a Brown Family Apps backup server. Google processes account authorization, Drive requests and stored backup files under its applicable terms and privacy policy. ServiceAll requests short-lived access tokens as needed and does not intentionally store your Google account password or OAuth access tokens in its own persistent app settings. Granting access is optional; you can continue using local backups without linking Google Drive.

You can disconnect or revoke ServiceAll's Drive access through your Google Account's third-party connection settings. Revoking access stops future authorized Drive uploads until you reconnect, but it does not automatically delete backups already in your Drive. You can review or delete those copies directly in Google Drive. Local backup copies may remain on your phone according to your settings. If a scheduled Drive backup fails or requires renewed permission, ServiceAll may display an in-app warning or, with notification permission, a backup alert. A local backup completing does not mean a cloud upload has succeeded.

Camera and notifications

ServiceAll may request camera access when you choose to capture photos and notification permission for maintenance reminders or backup alerts. Features you do not use do not require you to grant those permissions. Your exported photos or records are shared with an external destination only when you choose a manual export or authorize a cloud backup.

Homesteader — Homestead records

Feature availability varies as the app is developed and tested.

Homesteader is designed to keep animal details, ages, health and vet check notes, treatments, feed/supply costs, gardening records, images and other homestead information together. Entries and images you create are intended to remain in local app storage unless you deliberately export, share or back them up using a feature in your installed version.

The app may request camera or photo/file access when you choose to capture or attach images. Google Play and your device's operating-system backup features may process information independently of Brown Family Apps; an external copy you create is governed by its selected destination. We will revise this section if future Homesteader versions add cloud accounts or external analysis features.

Void Ascendant — Space progression game

Void Ascendant can store game settings, progression, upgrades and other saved-play information on your device. Gameplay does not require you to submit personal contact information to Brown Family Apps.

Optional Google Play Games features

If your release supports Google Play Games sign-in and you choose to use it, Google may process your gaming identity, achievements and related activity to provide those services. Google handles its own account and game-service information under its policies. Any online player data depends on the functionality enabled in your installed version.

In-app purchases

If you purchase optional game items or bundles, Google Play processes the transaction and the game may receive the purchase status and identifiers required to provide or restore the purchased content. We do not receive full payment-card details.

Technical crash reporting, if enabled in your installed version, is handled as described below. Online gaming and monetization features may change during development and testing.

4. Diagnostics, Crashlytics and analytics

Some releases use—or may later add—Google Firebase Crashlytics to diagnose crashes and improve stability. When enabled, Crashlytics can receive crash traces, app and OS versions, device metadata, installation identifiers and related technical information. This does not mean every Brown Family Apps app uses Crashlytics. JobSnapApp's published dedicated policy also lists Firebase Analytics, which may process technical usage events if enabled in the installed version.

We use diagnostic data to improve app functionality and troubleshoot problems, not to build advertising profiles. We do not intentionally add app-entered personal content to custom diagnostic fields. Technical logs can nevertheless include incidental information associated with an error. Read Firebase's privacy information for details on Google's processing.

5. App purchases and subscriptions

An app may be paid at download, offer subscriptions or sell optional in-app items, depending on the product and release. Purchases are processed by the relevant store, ordinarily Google Play. We may handle purchase tokens, product IDs, subscription status or other entitlement information needed to unlock or restore features or respond to purchase-related support. We do not handle full credit-card numbers. The store's retention and account processes are separate from Brown Family Apps.

6. Device permissions

Depending on app and feature, we may request camera, photo/file, contact or notification access. Permission requests should relate to a function you choose to use—for example, capturing an equipment photo, importing a JobSnapApp client or receiving a maintenance reminder. You can change permissions in device settings, although disabling a permission may prevent the associated feature from working.

7. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. Information may be transmitted to service providers only as needed for a feature or service you use: Google Play for purchases and platform services; Google/Firebase for authentication, diagnostics or analytics where integrated; Google Drive or another destination you select for backups; an AI provider when you choose an online photo-analysis feature; and your email or support provider when you contact us. Your choice to share/export content to another application or provider subjects that copy to the recipient's policies. Different apps do not automatically share one combined database.

8. Retention and deletion

Locally stored app content

You can remove local content using any available in-app delete option, clear the app's storage, or uninstall it. Backups you saved elsewhere, shared files and data held by external platforms will not necessarily be deleted by these actions. Operating-system backups may also require separate management. For instructions, see our app data and account deletion page.

JobSnapApp sign-in data

If you have JobSnapApp sign-in or Firebase Authentication data, email jobsnapappinfo@gmail.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request.” The JobSnapApp website privacy URL redirects to this policy so this page remains the single source of truth. Local deletion and Google Drive backup deletion are separate steps. Identity-provider, diagnostic and transaction data may have provider-specific retention requirements.

Other third-party services and support

If you use Google Play Games, Google Play purchases or another third-party account, use that provider's controls for its own account data. If you contact Brown Family Apps, we keep correspondence only as reasonably necessary to respond, manage follow-up and comply with applicable obligations. For questions about data we control, email the relevant contact below.

ServiceAll promotional giveaway

When you claim a free ServiceAll promotional code through our website, we set a necessary 30-day browser cookie containing a random claim token. This allows us to retrieve your previously issued code and reduce duplicate distribution. The claim token is associated with the promotional code in a private Cloudflare D1 database; we do not request your name or email address for claims. The giveaway also uses Cloudflare Turnstile to deter automated abuse. To rate-limit new claims, we temporarily store keyed, pseudonymized representations of the requesting IP address and claim counts. Cloudflare may independently process request and security information under its own policies. These mechanisms are not used by us for targeted advertising. Clearing your browser's cookies may prevent recovery of a previously issued code.

9. Security

We aim to use security measures appropriate to each app and the services it uses. Supported online providers generally encrypt information in transit. Local data security also depends on your device settings and the protection applied by any backup or sharing destination you select. No device, storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Children's privacy

Our apps are not intended to collect personal information from children under 13. Tic-Tac-Toe can be played together on one device without supplying personal information. Our products are not presented as social networks for children. If you believe a child has sent personal information through a support or online feature, please contact us so we can review it.

11. Policy changes

We will update this policy if our apps, service providers or data practices materially change. The update date above reflects the latest revision. Store listings and app-specific disclosures should describe the functionality of the version you install; planned features do not imply active data processing.
